EMOTIONALLY HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS

Have you ever wondered why we recycle the same problems year after year? Broken relationships, unresolved conflicts, inability to speak the truth…we spend a lot of money becoming competent in our careers, but few of us have gained the skills to love well.

This season, we invite you to journey with us through “Emotionally Healthy Relationships,” an 8-week course designed to help you develop mature, loving relationships with others and grow in your personal relationship with Jesus. Launches Sunday, Sept. 19th from 10:30am-12:00pm.

GRIEFSHARE

If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right now. This can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you’ve never faced before.

GriefShare is a 13-week support group designed to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life. Most people quickly feel comfortable and accepted in their GriefShare support group. They discover there are others who have the same kind of feelings they do and who understand the hurt they feel and the loss they have experienced. Please visit our registration page to learn more and sign up to attend.

SISTERHOOD

Life is messy. Relationships get broken, bodies get sick, water heaters erupt and cars break down. Sometimes all at once. So what does it mean to walk authentically with Jesus in the midst of whatever our mess is? How do we help someone else connect with Jesus in the middle of their mess? This is what we’ll be exploring in Sisterhood this semester. Let’s invite Jesus into our mess, whether it’s big or small, and discover that He is enough. Join us Wednesday nights from 7:00-8:30pm, starting Sept. 15th.

THURSDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY

What can we learn from the disciple, Peter? This fall, our Women’s Thursday Morning Bible Study will be doing a character study of Peter; from his beginnings as a fisherman, through his life as a disciple of Jesus, and onto his role as a powerful leader and preacher as he launched the spread of the gospel to the world. Come explore with us as we identify with Peter’s weaknesses and strengths, his relationship with Jesus, and how he was able to grow into living out the life for which he was uniquely wired. Join us on Thursday mornings from 9:30-11:30am starting Sept. 16th.
