Description: Luke 7:35-50 When she entered the room, the air must have been absolutely sucked out of the place. It was risky for a woman like this to enter any room full of men, nonetheless a room full of pious, religious men. But, she not only shows up, she shows up and shows them all up in the way that she lavishly loves Jesus. Her gift to him doesn’t make a whole lot of sense and even seems like a waste on the surface. I’m challenged to think through what it looks like to love Jesus in a way that moves beyond reason.
