Ministry Focus: Currently I work as an assistant nurse manager at Hospital Loma de Luz in Northern Honduras. As we have been short-staffed for the past year in the nursing department I have been working “the floor”. This gives me the privilege of working at the bedside of our patients anywhere from newborns, pediatrics, post-surgical cases, COVID patients, ICU care, and when possible educating staff. I have been building relationships with the nurses, challenging them to process what they go through and yet seeing God’s goodness in the middle of the hard. While working night shifts I have also been able to support the missionary physicians with triage allowing them to rest longer.
