Ministry Focus: The Snyder Family served in Kenya and Nigeria from 2002-2016. Their last assignment in Jos, Nigeria was with Sudan Interior Mission’s (SIM) City Ministries, an evangelical outreach to the poor, needy and vulnerable, especially children. Richard utilized his engineering skills to oversee new construction and renovations as well as serving in many other facets of ministry leadership while Susan taught a wide range of high school subjects at Hillcrest School, a 300-student international school in Jos. In 2016, they relocated to SIM’s U.S. headquarters in North Carolina where Richard works in the services department and consults with other SIM fields regarding their facilities and Susan works in the Prayer and Celebration department encouraging and equipping people to pray for SIM missionaries.
Please pray for:
- our walk with Jesus. That we would press into our relationship with, dependence on, and love for Him
- our family. The challenge of transitioning two young men into adulthood has been rewarding, difficult, and continual. Pray that David and Brian would grow to love God deeply and follow Him anywhere.
- our work. Pray we would work heartily unto God and not unto men. Our jobs are not always exciting and often go unnoticed, but if we do them because of our love for Jesus and in obedience to Him they are awesome.
