Executive Pastor
Steve has loved the church for as long as he can remember. Jesus has allowed him to serve as a pastor in 4 different churches (the last one was in Hillsboro, KS). After 34 years of church ministry, He and Penni felt God nudging them to step away from the church and run a business. Since they had kids and grandkids in the Denver area, they were drawn to buy the Greenwood Village Great Harvest Bread store and enjoyed running that for four years. Little did Steve know that God was using those years of experience in business to prepare him for this position at South, which he began in the fall of 2020. He says, “It feels like a perfect fit for me.” Steve loves helping to steward the resources God has given South. When he’s not working at the church, he enjoys bike riding, fly fishing, woodworking, remodeling, traveling, and hanging out with their six grandchildren.
