Advent at South 2022
Advent is a season of high drama! Perhaps we reflect on the time leading up to Christmas as feel-good stories full of people being pulled into God’s great story; all arriving with perfect timing to sit beside a manger in Bethlehem. However, each character involved has reason to find the timing of the story as anything but ideal.
This Christmas season, journey with South as we explore some of the central characters of the Advent story. Each week will feature carefully crafted on-stage drama reflecting the surprising tensions in the story we think we know so well! Throughout Advent, we’re invited to wonder at the surprising ways God weaves His wonderful story into the lives of everyday people like us, even when it seems inconvenient.
