New sermon series starting JUNE 2!
Days of our Lives has nothing on King David!
The Bible refers to David as a ‘man after God’s heart.’ He was a poet, a warrior, and a king. The messianic lineage ran through his blood and God used him greatly. YET, he was an adulterer, a murderer, and a man often filled with doubt who wrestled with bouts of depression. In many ways his life was a TUG OF WAR. He found himself often engaged in war (literally), but he also oscillated between great success and unimaginable failure. David lived a life defined by extreme highs and devastating lows.
We can all relate to the Life of David because we all know what it’s like to wrestle with our own internal TUG OF WAR. We know what we want to do, but often fall short of our very own expectations. We live in a turbulent world where we celebrate great joy and where we experience pain and evil. David could relate.
We hope you’ll join us this summer as we explore the Life of David; a life defined by a TUG OF WAR.
