Spiritual Formation
Each of us is on a unique spiritual journey. Spiritual formation is the ongoing process each person experiences as they develop their relationship with Jesus and his people. This can take place through a variety of different spiritual practices, both individually and in community. We’re excited to come alongside you and equip you for your journey!
FIRST WEDNESDAYS
Worship & Prayer Nights
On the first Wednesday of each month, we set aside 30 minutes from 6:30–7:00pm in the Worship Center to pause, worship, and pray together. These brief but meaningful gatherings are a way to re-center our hearts before the rest of the evening unfolds. Whether you’re heading to Students, Sisterhood, Watchmen Prayer—or simply looking for a midweek space to connect with God—we invite you to join us. And if you’re not involved in another group, stay a little longer for extended prayer and worship as we seek God together.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Groups at South
The way of Jesus wasn’t meant to be lived alone! We believe personal connection and spiritual formation take place in community. Our groups exist to provide a place to engage with others in prayer, scripture study, and mutual support. Access our current list of open groups, classes, prayer groups, and more below.
MEN’S & WOMEN’S MINISTRIES
Men’s & Women’s Formation
At South, we believe we’re formed more deeply when we journey with others. Through men’s and women’s ministries, we create spaces for connection, growth, and encouragement—no matter your background or stage of faith. Check out our Men’s and Women’s pages for details on current opportunities to get involved.
