Jackson Morehead

Elder

Jackson and his wife, Holly, were married in Colorado, spent several years in the Midwest, and returned to Colorado in 2021. They have called South home ever since and have four children: Lucy, Emmett, Harvey, and Lola. After several years as a registered nurse, Jackson pursued graduate studies to become a mental health therapist. He sees his work as a unique intersection of faith and clinical psychology and considers it a privilege to hear and hold the stories of others, walking alongside them through both sorrow and joy.

At South, Jackson has helped facilitate grief and mental health support groups and serves with South Kids. He values the opportunity to support others, build relationships, and contribute to the life of the church. Outside of work and serving, Jackson enjoys spending time with his family, connecting with people after church, and making jokes that reliably earn eye rolls from his children.
