Kevin Rayl
Elder
Kevin and his family have called South home for many years. He was married to Kelly for 36 years, and together they have two married adult children and three grandchildren. Kelly passed away after living with ALS, a season that deepened Kevin’s appreciation for what it means to be part of the body of Christ. During that time, friends from South, especially those in their Life Group, surrounded Kevin and Kelly with genuine care and support. Through their love, Kevin experienced the heart of Jesus in tangible ways and gained an even deeper love for the South community.
Kevin has served in South’s student ministry for many years, including helping lead through seasons of transition. He especially loves seeing students grow in their faith and discover what it means to follow Jesus. Professionally, Kevin has built a career in computer application development. He enjoys hunting, fishing, archery, exploring God’s creation, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He is grateful for the opportunity to serve South as an elder.
