
Kris Yahashi
Food Bank Manager
Kris Yahashi has been volunteering with the South Food Bank team for six years, mostly on Saturday mornings, and has built relationships with many of the volunteers and shoppers. She is happy to help in a more administrative role, as working behind the scenes fits her personality and giftings well.
Kris' background includes degrees in Math and ESL, teaching English in Japan, raising 5 kids, working for a preschool, elementary school, church (as a Children's Ministry Director), and missions organizations. She currently works full-time processing donations for OMF International.
In her free time, she enjoys reading (fiction!), scrapbooking, playing board games, pickleball, puzzles, and baking.
