Lauren Zitek

Elder

Lauren and her family have been part of South Fellowship Church since 2022, though her connection to South began much earlier when she attended as a child. She has enjoyed serving with the South Food Bank, participating in a small group, and experiencing the relationships that make South feel like home. Lauren has been a public school teacher since 2011 and also writes about Sabbath and spiritual formation in family life for Substack and Christian publications. She is passionate about helping families cultivate rhythms of generosity, Sabbath, prayer, hospitality, service, and Scripture that create space for spiritual growth.

Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband, their two children, and friends. She also loves traveling, walking along the High Line Canal, practicing Spanish, hiking, exploring Downtown Littleton restaurants, and a good cup of coffee or tea. As an elder, Lauren is committed to listening well, seeking God’s wisdom, and faithfully serving the South community.
