What’s it like to follow Jesus? If it’s parroting old prayers we don’t understand, following rules we aren’t sure we agree with and maybe attending a church service or two, we might be missing out on the wonderful relationship God has for us.

However long you have been following Jesus, the most important element in following Him is learning to listen for His voice. Jesus invited his first disciples to a life of constant conversation with Him. Of course, this brings up questions about what God sounds like, how He speaks to us, and whether our prayer life can become more of a conversation.
