Have you ever wondered why talking about faith can feel so difficult, yet Jesus made it look so natural? When Jesus spoke about the mission he was leaving to his followers, he gave us two things. He gave us clear instructions like “go into all the world” and “go and make disciples.” But he also gave us something just as important. He gave us his example.

Jesus showed us that sharing the good news often begins closer to home than we think. Again and again, he noticed the people right around him. He prayed for them. He listened to their stories. He shared meals with them. He served them. And along the way, he shared the hope he carried.

In this series, Love Thy Neighbor, we will explore how the mission of Jesus often begins with the people God has already placed in our lives. The neighbors across the street, the coworker down the hall, the parent on the sidelines, the friend across the table. As we follow the way of Jesus, we will discover simple and practical ways to love the people around us and share the story of what God is doing in our lives.
