Ordinary Time
The liturgical calendar has existed in the Church for centuries. It begins with God’s entry into the world in Advent and Christmas, continues through the victory of resurrection in Easter, and then it lands in Ordinary Time. This is a season for the Church to live out its calling in the world; fulfilling the mission of God. If Advent is God with us, Easter is God for us, and Pentecost is God in us, then Ordinary Time is God through us. As we enter into the joy of summer, we invite you to make memories, enjoy a slower pace, and be reminded of our calling to live in the way of Jesus with the heart of Jesus.
