Won’t You Be My Neighbor?
In a world filled with garage door openers, Amazon orders, and privacy fences, it can be easy to live without knowing the people we live closest to. The way we structure our lives reflects the internal rhythms of our souls. We’re often closed off, driven, and busy. We’ve built bigger fences instead of longer tables – rarely welcoming anyone into our home or our life. But, the history of the church is around the table. For hundreds of years, the table is where the people of Jesus met. The gospel spread from one home to another.
What would happen if a community of faith embraced Jesus’ vision for being a neighbor? What might Jesus unleash as we invite people into our ordinary lives and share our stories? Join us as we journey towards radically ordinary hospitality.
