Read Ephesians 3:1-13.

Reflect on these verses.

Paul talks about the mystery of Christ. He reveals what this is in verses 8 and 12. ALL people, Jews, Gentiles, men, women, children, rich, poor, disabled, healthy, ALL nations are given access to God through the saving work of Jesus on the cross. Reflect on this truth and the impact of these verses on your life.

Read Ephesians 3:14-21.

For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge —that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

Think of a person, a family or a group of people who need prayer. Use phrases from this passage or the whole prayer to pray for that person, or group of people. Perhaps the person you need to pray for is yourself. Pray that you and the person, or group of people you are praying for can begin to grasp how wide, how long, how high, and how deep is Christ’s love for each of us. Remember when you pray, He is able to do immeasurably more than we can even imagine.
