A while back I shared with many of you that the director we hired for the Early Learning Center (ELC) at the church didn’t show up. That’s right, she emailed me on the night she was supposed to have made her grand appearance to tell me that she was staying with her former employer. Needless to say, I was frustrated and wondering what God had in store for the ELC. We were back to square one and reposted the job. But, I was hanging onto the reality that God is always at work… even when I don’t see it.
Well, now I see what God had in store.
God has been over and abundantly gracious to the ELC in leading Abi Epperhart to us! She started this past week as the new director and great things are already happening. I could imagine no one being a better fit for our center! She comes to us with much experience in early childhood and deep passion for Jesus. Her husband is the pastor of Legacy Chapel in Highlands Ranch and we could not be more excited to have Abi as part of our team!
I’m reminded tonight of just how GOOD our heavenly Father is. I’m reminded of how he leads and guides… often in ways that I don’t see. I have no doubt that Abi is the exact person God had for this job and it’s going to be fun to see the way he works through her over the coming months and years.
