We call it “Good Friday.” It most assuredly is good for us, but it wasn’t “good” for him. On this Friday, Jesus gave his life for the sin of the world. On the cross, death defeated death; evil enveloped evil; and sin killed sin. At the cross we see the greatest blow hate can deliver and the greatest display of God’s love and forgiveness ever made. On the cross Jesus made a spectacle of the worldly power by giving his own life for humanity’s redemption – his love wins! This is our hope. This is our story. This is our song. Join us on April 19th at 6:30pm for a time of worship, reflection, and meditation centered on the cross.
