What does it look like to walk in the way of Jesus as a family? How can we create a sense of home that honors the best of where we come from and embraces the emerging challenges and opportunities of life in the 21st century? We know that simplistic, rule-based and one-size fits all approaches won’t work. Now more than ever, we need a vision for family that is creative, intentional, soulful and globally aware.
We’re thrilled to have Mark & Lisa Scandrette facilitating their Thriving Families Workshop here at South on Saturday, Nov. 2nd from 8:30am-2:00pm. Whether you have children, hope to have children, parent solo or with a partner, we invite you to attend! Cost is $30 a couple, $20 single, and +$5 per child or teenager attending the workshop (childcare is also available). Cost covers a continental breakfast, lunch, and a copy of the Scandrette’s book, Belonging and Becoming. Please register online by Oct. 27th.
