Written by someone who knew Jesus intimately—one of his closest friends—it invites us into moments and conversations not recorded anywhere else. Though Jesus is the same across all four Gospels, in John, we see his heart for the individual. Chapter after chapter, Jesus connects with people one-on-one, showing an incredible ability to care deeply for each person’s story.
