What do we do when it appears that God isn’t good? In the book of Ruth, she and her mother in law Naomi lose their husbands, family and property. They are left isolated and alone with no future ahead. They lose everything…except faith. Even though they seem uncertain at times, both cling to their convictions that God is ultimately faithful in his love. Ruth is a book we can understand. There are no battles, no conquering kings, no supernatural miracles. It’s a book about everyday people being faithful to God and believe He will remain faithful to them.
